Guqifeng, Xinzhu and the Terracotta Army

Everyone’s heard of the world heritage listed Terracotta Army in Xi’an, China. Yesterday, while exploring the temple at Guqifeng just outside Xinzhu city, Taiwan, I came across a replica of the warriors. Although they weren’t life size, and there weren’t as many as at Xi’an, they were still very impressive. Here’s a few photo’s.
I’ll have some more images of other parts of the Guqifeng complex later this week, plus a more detailed write up about the site. It’s a very interesting place.
