Sporadic Posting

Craig June 6th, 2007

Sorry for the lack of posts the past few days. I’m in the midst of upgrading all my computer hardware and have been busy checking backups, sourcing drivers and so forth. It should all be finished by the weekend, so hopefully I’ll be back to a regular posting schedule by early next week.

Guqifeng, Xinzhu and the Terracotta Army

Craig June 3rd, 2007

Everyone’s heard of the world heritage listed Terracotta Army in Xi’an, China. Yesterday, while exploring the temple at Guqifeng just outside Xinzhu city, Taiwan, I came across a replica of the warriors. Although they weren’t life size, and there weren’t as many as at Xi’an, they were still very impressive. Here’s a few photo’s.

I’ll have some more images of other parts of the Guqifeng complex later this week, plus a more detailed write up about the site. It’s a very interesting place.
