Rockabilly band Full House took the stage first at the Rock N Roll Circus, held last weekend in Taiwan. The Taipei show was at VU Livehouse in front of an enthusiastic crowd. After a brief delay due to technical problems, the three-piece ripped into a blistering set and got the party started.
Stay tuned tomorrow for party shots and burlesque group Rock In Hose.
I would love to visit this place for some photography too.
You have an address for this location?
Sure do. VU Livehouse B1, #77 Wuchang St Sec 2, Taipei. It's in Ximending on the cinema street on the corner of Wuchang and Kunming. There's a Starbucks on 1F and a Subway across the road.
Amazing shots, Craig. That first one is killer. It looks like a really interesting show.
Thanks Stevo. It was a very cool show.
Man, what a great series Craig. I missed a lot while I was gone. I can't wait to sit down someday and compare notes on how you shot these. If you were using that 17 – 40 then it is MUCH sharper than mine.
Yeah, this was the 17-40mm on a full frame 5D mark II.
As an aside, I must be getting old. The drummer looks like he is 14.
I can see the Taipei life agrees with you. We were supposed to attend this show, but I ended up sick instead. It looks like I missed a great party.
It was a fun night. Seems sickness was spreading that weekend – Selina missed it too.
