This edition of 5 is once again from Taiwan. One of the leading Buddhist centers in Taiwan is Shihtoushan – Lion’s Head Mountain – located in the northern part of Miaoli county. At 496m above sea level, with lush vegetation around, it makes an ideal spot for a number of Buddhist temples and monasteries. With shrines tucked into caves and hiking trails around the mountainside, Shihtoushan is an ideal place for both Buddhist pilgrims and people just looking for a cool, relaxing place to spend a few hours on a summers day.

Killer set, like the contrasty processing on these, really sets a mood for me. Did you have to hike in there or can one drive?
When I went, it was by bus and there was a short hike of about 30 mins or so. It is possible to drive right up there though.
