Lighting workshop sounds like fun...

I'm going back to SA for 2 weeks at the end of the month, but otherwise
things look clear.

I'm at level zero and llooking to climb fast- I'm only getting a flash for
my Pentax at the end of the month (I think).

Are there any specific websites you would recommend?

I've been pretty much camped at http://strobist.blogspot.com/

I've been following a lot of strobe tutorials so

When I took one look at the color of the blue sky I said to myself- gel and something else.

Then before writing to ask which gel and what else I decided to read your description below the picture!

Good thing I did.
