Shutterbug Sunday – Mark Hewatt Photo

Here we are again on Sunday and another featured photographer in the Shutterbug Sunday series. I hope everyone who participated in Photowalks around the world yesterday had fun, stayed safe, made some new friends and shot some cool photos.

Today, the spotlight is on Mark Hewatt, an experimental photographer from North Georgia, USA. Unlike some of the recent photographers featured here, Mark is more enthusiast than professional, with work ranging from street photography to urbex, landscapes to people.

Mark, who studied photography in college and has a degree in fine art, considers himself more of a hybrid between hobbyist and serious photographer. He sees this as a benefit as it allows him to focus his enjoyment of photography on the act not the product. Landscape and nature photography is one of his favorite genres as it allows him to slow down, plan the shot and take the time to compose the photograph.

Mark also maintains a video blog with some behind the scenes type videos to give the viewer a better sense of “there”. He can be found on Twitter as @markhewatt.
