Taipei Photowalk 2009 – The Winner and Selected Highlights

After a few days of consideration, a careful study of the submitted images and a lot of coffee, it’s time to announce the winning image from the Taipei leg of the 2009 Scott Kelby Worldwide Photowalk. There were so many great images posted to peoples Flickr streams that I thought it’d be very difficult to choose a suitable and deserving winner. My task was made somewhat easier because so many people decided not to upload their two favorite images to the official site. Still, roughly half of the photowalkers entered and now one has been chosen. The winning image is by Toby Peters and it has now been sent off to the worldwide competition for a chance to be the global winner. Congratulations Toby. As group winner you’ll receive a copy of Scott Kelby’s “The Digital Photography Book, Volume 3“.  After the jump there’ll be a few more selected highlights.]

Choosing the winner was tough. Here are a few honorable mentions. For the people whose photos appear here, I’d be happy to buy you a beer/coffee/whatever next time I see you.

p.s. I know you're very talented man and I'm sure you can understand my Polish too :)

Wow, thank you for that. I'm not sure I can follow the Polish, but there's always Google translate! Thank you for the comment and for the great photos.

Great images, Craig. That must have been a great walk.

I like the larger photos and your new look! The text, I think, is tad small for my mediocre eyes. All in all, change is a good thing.

  22. cfimages says:

Many thanks as always Stevo. True, true, change is good. Glad you like it.
