After a few days of consideration, a careful study of the submitted images and a lot of coffee, it’s time to announce the winning image from the Taipei leg of the 2009 Scott Kelby Worldwide Photowalk. There were so many great images posted to peoples Flickr streams that I thought it’d be very difficult to choose a suitable and deserving winner. My task was made somewhat easier because so many people decided not to upload their two favorite images to the official site. Still, roughly half of the photowalkers entered and now one has been chosen. The winning image is by Toby Peters and it has now been sent off to the worldwide competition for a chance to be the global winner. Congratulations Toby. As group winner you’ll receive a copy of Scott Kelby’s “The Digital Photography Book, Volume 3“. After the jump there’ll be a few more selected highlights.]
Choosing the winner was tough. Here are a few honorable mentions. For the people whose photos appear here, I’d be happy to buy you a beer/coffee/whatever next time I see you.

You can see more of Dylulena’s photos at Flickr. Dylulena was one of two photographers who had both of their uploads make it into my final selection. The other was Ron Albrecht. His two images are next.
I urge you to check out the portfolios, blogs and photostreams of the above people. Toby, Dylulena and Ron’s links are all posted above. For the rest, here they are. Carrie’s blog. TIdo’s Flickr Photostream. Emmy Ting’s Flickr Photostream. Neil Wade’s Porfolio. Joseph, I don’t have a link for you. If you could let me know, I’ll add it in.
Once again, thank you everyone for participating. Stay tuned because tomorrow there’ll be some more model portfolio shots, this time from New York model Sheri.
Congratulations Toby – a beautiful shot and a well deserved win!

How come we don't have one in HK?
It's odd that there wasn't one in HK. This one only came about because I organized it – I guess next year you'll have to do it yourself

Craig,
I decided to make my thanks very special, so here you have them in my mother language:))
p.s. I know you're very talented man and I'm sure you can understand my Polish too
Wow, thank you for that. I'm not sure I can follow the Polish, but there's always Google translate! Thank you for the comment and for the great photos.
Great images, Craig. That must have been a great walk.
I like the larger photos and your new look! The text, I think, is tad small for my mediocre eyes. All in all, change is a good thing.
Many thanks as always Stevo. True, true, change is good. Glad you like it.
