I recently shot a series of promotional images for a local personal trainer who has started offering classes in kettlebells. Formosa Fitness is located a short walk from Guting MRT station in Taipei and offers a free health and fitness assessment, as well as bootcamp fitness classes and kettlebell training. Dave Chesser, the personal trainer behind these classes, is an NASM certified trainer and is the first IKFF certified kettlebell trainer in Taiwan.
Shooting details are at the end of the post. More pictures afters the jump.
Shooting details – A Canon 5D Mark II with 70-200mm lens was used for these. I set the camera to ISO400, f4 1/200 for all the shots, although focal length varied. For light, to the right of frame was a 580 EXII placed inside a softbox on a light stand and triggered with Elinchrom Skyports. A second speedlight was bounced into a wall camera left for some fill light.
Coming up next week will be a look at a neat tip for low light, handheld, no-flash photography, as well as the second part of the Kinmen travel series.
