Five For Friday – Happy Birthday Taiwan

October 10th marks Taiwan’s National Day, affectionately known as Double 10 day. As that is coming up tomorrow, this weeks 5 says a quick Happy Birthday to Taiwan.

Before we do that however, some quick housekeeping. Stay tuned next week for

1. An announcement regarding a second lighting workshop to be held in mid November. This will cover the same ground as last Sunday’s workshop for the people who were unable to attend the first one.

2.As well, due to popular request, there’ll be a follow-up afternoon for participants of the first one to have another opportunity to work with a model.

3. Finally, look for an announcement of a pre-holiday special on family portraits. With so many of you expats in Taiwan unable to head home for the holidays, a nicely framed and presented photograph will make a great gift for family on the other side of the world.

Now, let’s move on to the pictures. Happy Birthday Taiwan.

Nice camera skills, nice blue sky, but poor selection of objects and poor knowledge of Taiwan's history.
  • Thanks lalado. I'm not sure why you made the comment about history as I didn't mention any of Taiwan's history in the text.
  • Wonderful images really I really love the blues in the sky...
