The latest edition of the Lonely Planet guide for Taiwan has just been released. For a lot of Taiwan photographers getting images published here is a goal of sorts. I have representation for some travel stock with Lonely Planet Images but it was pleasing none the less to see that they used a few of my photographs in this latest update. Normally, I post my various tearsheets to my Facebook page and not here on the blog but I’m going to start putting a few select ones here as well. The lead shot of Taroko Gorge and the photo to the right of the Pingxi Sky Lantern were two of my images they selected for this edition of the book. I believe that they used three in total but I haven’t had an opportunity to see the actual book yet so there may be more. You can buy a copy of Lonely Planet Taiwan at Amazon. Most of the Taiwan photographs I shot and sent to them were done last summer, however the Taroko image was from a trip there in early 2009.
I’ll post some more recent work in the coming days and weeks.
