Dream Parade
The Dream Community held their annual Dream Parade in the streets of Taipei over the weekend. Modeled on Brasil’s Carnivale and New Orleans Mardi Gras, performers from both joined local groups in a day of color on the Taipei Streets. With marching bands, floats, performers from elementary schools and Aboriginal visitors, as well as teams from Japan and France, the event showed Taipei’s increasingly multicultural face and thriving artistic communities.
