Wedding photography in Taiwan is a big business with elaborate photo sessions taking place months before the wedding and less attention given to the actual wedding banquet. It’s an area I normally steer clear of but fulfilling a promise to a friend, and a request from one of my Facebook fans saw me photographing two wedding banquets last month. The first was a same-sex wedding that took place in Taipei city. The grooms had already had a wedding in Canada previously and this was the banquet for their friends and family in Taiwan. The second was out in Yilan county and featured a bit of dancing, something that is not usual at a Taiwanese wedding. Both were a lot of fun to photograph and so here are a few photographs from the two events.
