Upcoming Classes

Finishing touches are being put on a new initiative at the Taipei Photo School. It’s being tested out on an individual basis at the moment, with plans to take it to group classes in the next month or so. To that extent, I’m looking for expressions of interest from anyone who’d like to attend. Aimed mostly at beginners, those coming back to photography after a break or just anyone looking for a bit of discipline in their shooting, the class will run for 2-3 hours on a Saturday. The final date is to be confirmed, with mid-May the most likely time. Once the class is officially announced, it will cost NT$2000 per person, however if you respond by either commenting here, sending email or messages, you can secure a place for NT$1500. Full details of the class will be announced in a couple of weeks but what I can tell you is that it’s based around a series of short exercises that concentrate on various aspects of photography. The only gear required is a camera and that can be any camera. It does not have to be a DSLR – compact cameras, phone cameras and whatever else you may have is all you need. Also, no special technical knowledge is needed, although it is useful.
