Monuments
The monuments tour covers some of Taipei’s leading tourist attractions, as well as some lesser known sites. Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall, Taipei 101, Rainbow Bridge are just some of the possibilities.
Temples
Taipei is blessed with a multitude of temples. These are often busy, colorful and full of great photographs just waiting to be made. Some of the biggest and most important are the Longshan Temple, Bao-an Temple, Confucius Temple, Xingtian Temple and Guandu Mazu Temple.
Nature
Taipei has a national park within its bounds, and is surrounded by mountains on three sides. Yangmingshan National Park offers hot springs, waterfalls, great views and stunning hiking. Guandu Nature Park alongside the Danshui River is a sanctuary for many kinds of water birds, and Fuyang Ecological Park is a hidden gem – a jungle in the middle of the city.
Markets
Taipei has an abundance of markets. Possible options here include traditional local markets, wholesale fish, meat and produce markets, Chinese medicine and dry goods, wholesale clothing, fabric, flower markets, jade market and night markets.
Nightlife
Taipei is a city that never sleeps and offers a wealth of nighttime photographic possibilities. The hip areas of Ximending, numerous bars and live music venues that have open camera policies and the shopping district of Xinyi are all options.

Minitour
This is for the photographer with not a lot of spare time. A minitour typically covers 1-2 locations over the course of 60-90 minutes. We meet on-site and take it from there. Quick, easy, no fuss.
Costs : 1-2 people NT$4000 / US$125 (total). 3+ people NT$1500 / US$45 per person
Half-day Tour
A half day tour allows you to either take things slower, or cover more locations. The half-day tour offers the option of instruction as well. Learn how to create a photo essay, shoot to a theme or master the manual modes of your camera.
Costs : 1-2 people NT$10000 / US$310 (total). 3+ people NT$4500 / US$140 per person. Instruction (optional) add NT$2000/US$60 per person.
Full Day Tour
The full day tour offers an even greater range of shooting choices than the half-day tour. We will take a break during the hottest part of the day but continue into the early evening. During the break, there’ll be an opportunity to review the mornings work, have a critique session, visit a photo exhibition or just take a rest.
Costs : 1-2 people NT$18000 / US$560 (total) 3+ people NT$6000 / US$190 per person. Instruction (optional) add NT$3200 / US$100 per person.
Nightlife
The nightlife option allows for photographing city lights, neon signs, night markets or live music. This is a 2 hour phototour.
Costs : 1-2 people NT$5000 / US$155 (total). 3+ people NT$2000 /US$60 per person. For the live music option, if it finishes after midnight, an additional NT$1600 / US$50 (total) is payable.
Included in the price are all transport costs and any entrance fees.
